Miracles

It isn’t so hard to believe in miracles in Al-Anon. We see such miraculous changes in people who came as newcomers filled with self-pity and resentment and beset with fears. There may not have even been any improvement in their alcoholic situation at home, but what they learn in Al-Anon makes a tremendous difference in their own outlook. They gain confidence and poise; they come out of their shells and concern themselves with others in similar trouble. All of this can be attributed to the sound spiritual sense that Al-Anon makes; but certainly “miracle” is a good word to describe the results.

3 C’s of Al-Anon

  1. We didn’t CAUSE it
  2. We can’t CONTROL it
  3. We can’t CURE it

AND WE WON’T CONTRIBUTE TO IT TODAY

Questions to Consider This Week

  1. What are some opportunities to give to hope to others that I can identify?
  2. Am I willing to share my experience, strength and hope with those seeking family recovery in order to provide hope to other families who are struggling?
  3. What is one thing I am willing to do today that will move me closer to becoming the person I believe I need to become?
